Title Decision- Ella, Frankie, Jack, Mia

After a lot of deliberation we have finally come up with the title, Betrayal. We chose this due to the main event that happens in our film, Jennifer seeing her mum kiss father Christmas, therefore she feels 'betrayed'. We also understand that the word 'Betrayal' comes across as a very strong word, therefore the audience will be expecting something huge to happen, however as Jennifer is a young girl would have exaggerated her emotions, moreover a querky ending, that is common in short films.

We do also feel that seeing as our film has a Christmas theme to it the title should have something christmas-realted, however we feel that the title would be more effective if it was just one word. Although it was very hard for us to think of just one word which is christmas-related as well as giving of ideas about 'betrayal' and 'deceitfulness' within the film, and so therefore we settled with 'Betrayal', as mentioned above we do feel that this is quite a harsh word for a light-hearted narrative, however we could not think of anything substantially more effective that would suit the theme and the narrative.

  1. OK - you've thought long and hard about this, and you've run out of time now, so Betrayal it is. Jack - there is virtually nothing from you on the blog at all, and this is a very significant problem as we approach the marking. Your work on the film is very good of course, but you are in very great danger of losing a lot of marks for poor blog work.

  2. Where is your analysis of copy and where is your draft review? I wouldn't leave this to chance if I were you.
